I have been using Papik Plumbing since I moved my family to Pacific Palisades in 1991 when Papa Jim Papik was the main man.I love that fact that it is family run business with papa Jim's son and family running the show. The plumbers who do the field calls are the best, knowledgable and professional guys. Jay and Oliver have been there for as long as I can remember. I know when these guys show up, the issue gets fixed the right way.

Jay and his team at SWPR are FANTASTIC! I cannot recommend them enough. We've used several different plumbers on the westside, and none have been as efficient, trustworthy, or affordable as these guys. Although we had scheduled an appointment for the following midday, Sunset West called back within a few minutes and was able to send a plumber almost immediately to clear a blockage. The lovely woman in the office understood my concerns and made a same day appointment possible. This type of service is why we’ve been a customer for many years. On-Time, Professional, Reasonable, Courteous - I received an alert from my Flume device that monitors water flow into our house. Turns out we had a slow but constant leak coming from a toilet angle stop value in our guest bath. I shut off the valve and decided against my DIY instincts and called Sunset West Plumbing. Called on Monday and had the job completed on Wednesday. Appointment was for the 12pm to 2pm window - I think it was Dave (sorry if I got the name wrong) called me at 11:15am to confirm appointment and discuss needed parts. They showed up a few minutes after 12pm and had the job done in basically 30 minutes.
We have used Sunset West for other plumbing issues in the past and have found them to be responsive and fair in their pricing. We highly recommend them!

Another great service call from Sunset West. Oliver was super helpful and knowledgeable, and was able to take care of our clog without any issue. Always a pleasure to deal with them, and I use them for any plumbing issues even though I have a home warranty that would cover it. I would rather spend a bit more to know things are done right, and quickly, than have someone from the home warranty company that likely hasn't been doing it for very long.

Sunset West was extremely helpful and arranged for same day service for a kitchen sink clog. The plumber was courteous, very thorough- making sure the cleaned out, snaked pipes drained running water as well as a large sink full of water before leaving. - and then moved on fixing Toto toilet flushing issues (solved) and, dear to my heart, fixed a dishwasher draining issue which has kept me in fear for years because the machine would periodically dump its drain water onto the counter and floor. Another great experience with the folks from Sunset West. Our tankless water heater wasn't working, and while we have a home warranty that would cover it, they always take way too long to fix things. Since we didn't want to live without hot water for the week, we called Sunset West Plumbing, who sent someone over in just a few hours. They quickly diagnosed the problem, found the part that was needed locally and came out this morning to complete the job. Couldn't ask for nicer and more knowledgeable people to handle your plumbing needs.

I followed Jay's instructions to get leak detection. Jay was back soon to replace the leaking pipe.
